Sooraj Tom is a distinguished filmmaker with around two decades of experience in advertising and feature flms. After six years of short film career he joined as an assistant director in a Mammootty starrer movie, Bombay March 12 (2011). Then a highly sought after creative director, he has helmed numerous ad campaigns and corporate films for leading Indian brands. Beyond his acclaimed commercial work, Sooraj Tom has established himself as a versatile filmmaker by directing four feature films; Pa.Va (Pappanekurichum Varkiyekurichum) 2016, Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal (2018), Krishnankutti Pani Thudangi (2021), and Vishesham (2024). This prolific output showcases his creative vision and storytelling prowess within the film industry. Notably, Vishesham marks the inaugural production under Sooraj Tom’s own banner, Step2 Films. His impressive portfolio boasts collaborations with renowned national and Kerala based companies like Hyundai, Kingfisher, Pepsi, Airtel, Malayala Manorama, Manappuram Finance and Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda. Sooraj Tom’s exceptional talent and expertise are evident in his successful completion of over 400 advertising and corporate films.
